  The 1U4E1PCM equipment multiplexes 0-30 channels of voice data into 1-4 E1 data and cross-connect all the 128 units of 64K time slots flexibly through network management software.  The 30 channels could be of any interface type and each card accommodates 2 channels.

 Multiple protections have been applied for safety and reliability. There are lightening proof, anti-magnet and anti-surge protections for the equipment. Each working circuit has its own power supply and recoverable fuse so that any error happening on single unit will not affect others.

  The sub frame is made of stainless steel with anti-corruption and good heat-abstraction structure. It is 19¨ in width and 1U in height with a turnover front panel. All the channel cards can be hot-swapped after turn down the panel. The enclosed constructions of connectors prevent short circuits caused by external metals

 with N64K V.35 channels and N64K V.24 channels

Point to point

   
  • Only single E1 in use, linking common PCM30 equipment.

 

  • Point-to-point mode, adopt 2 E1 ports, to make 1+1 protection.
    Using one optical cable route, then use the microwave to backup. So when the cable is break off, the network software will switch automaticly to another E1 port until the cable is repaired.




  • Using 4 E1 ports to make 3+1 lines protection and switch. For example, the optical cable route using the first 2M interface, the microwave using the second 2M interface, the spread spectrum using the third 2M interface and then connect the satellite to the forth 2M interface. The intelligent PCM network software will switch automaticly to the second E1, when the optical cable break off. The rest can be done in the same manner.



 
                         
 

Point to multiple point

   
  • 4 E1 ports in use to distribute the voice channels from the central station to the sub stations, for the point to multiple points.





  • Chain network mode, 2E1 ports in use (D&I), distribute the voice channels from 1E1 port to the sub stations. For example, 1E1 port of the program-controlled exchanger can distribute 10 stations if 1 station need 3 voices channels.





  • Using cross-connect function which can change 1E1 port to 3E1 ports.
    The CAS function of the MD110, lead out 1E1 port from the TLU76-3, distribute it to 3 2M, transmitted on the fiber, connecting 10 phones of the 3 sub stations.

Multiple E1 ports in use as cross connect equipment, for point to multiple points. 2 channels of V24/RS232 interfaces and 2 channels of NX64Kbit/s V.35 interfaces.
