  OTS-622B Multiplexer offers various types of traffic interfaces such as Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, SDH and PDH with flexible network configurations of linear, ring, multiple rings, etc. The OTS-622B is also well suited for implementation in customer premises. OTS-622B has been developed as a part of OTS-622B family products. OTS-622B also has the following features:

•      Conforms to the correlative proposal of ITU-T and relating SDH technical criteria of the country.

•       Full time slot cross connection functions, having powerful, convenient Add and Drop traffic functions and modes.

•       Modular system design: the equipment can be configured either TM or ADM mode flexibly.

•    2U-height compact-size designation.

•    Providing 1008 × 1008 VC12 level or 48 × 48 VC3 level or 16 × 16 VC4 level non-blocking cross connection, supporting unidirectional, bi-directional and broadcasting.

•     Providing sub-network connection protection, channel protection and 1+1 multiplex section protection.

•     Applicable for a number of network configurations: point to point, linear, ring, star, tree, multi-ring, ring crossing, etc.

•     Provides E1, T1, E3, T3, 10Base-T and 10/100 Base-T traffic interfaces.

Function Description

  

  OPS-622C is the optical transmission equipment of the new generation with a great capacity, belonging to the SDH series products. Having flexible and reliable cable transmission system with XMS-LE, OPS-622C gives better performances in the information highway.

Following lists the feature of OPS-622C:

•   When configuring with 622 Mbit/s，maximum of 128 PDH 2M low-rate signals  can be inserted to SDH STM-4 high-rate signal directly, enabling the connection between PDH and SDH.

•   When configuring with 155 Mbit/s，maximum 126 PDH 2M low-rate signals can be inserted to SDH STM-1 high-rate signal directly, enabling the connection between PDH and SDH.

•   Using extended board, signals of different rate can be inserted into STM-1 or STM-4 system directly for transmission.

•   Modular-type design allows configuring 622M equipment or 155M equipment only by replacing interface modules and adding matrix module.

•   Configurations of TERM (terminal multiplexing unit) and ADM (add/drop multiplexer) are available by STM-1 or STM4 SDH optical transmission system.

•   SDH optical transmission system is available for point-to-point, linear, ring or other complicated network combining these three types of networks.
