  FOM4800 supports both alternative current (AC) and direct current (DC) feeding. And it is available for AC and DC inputs feeding simultaneously.
The Ethernet indicators are on the front panel, and the LED indicators are also on the front panel for a direct check of alarm.


  The LCD on the front panel shows the operation and alarming status of both local and remote equipment. And with the help of the buttons besides it, common loop modes can be set for tests. The LED indicators are also placed on the front panel for a direct check of alarms.






  All of the unit cards are removable and support hot-swap and the configurations are available through the assemblage of the common modules.
 
The V.35 interface through a 34-pin V.35 connector or the DB25 interface The optical interface works under 1+1 mode or 1+0 mode, one interface with single fiber+1 interface with double fibers.

  • The common service unit cards are 4×E1 card, 4×V.35 card, 100M-LAN card and 8.448M line rate LAN card and network management interface card.
