 FOM480 Fiber Optic Mutiplexer
  Flexible configuration meet the need of applications foreign abroad. Though it is 19
inches in width and 1U in height, it is different from other PDH which is manufactured by
other companies. All of the unit cards are hot swappable. A big quantity of this type 
exported. Either appearance or performance has good quality.

  The sub rack of FOM480 multiplexer is made of aluminum alloy and 19 inches in width, 
1U in height. It provides 7 slots for unit card, which consists of 2 optical card slots, 
1 8.448M Ethernet card slot and 4 service unit slots. The 4 slots can be deployed with 
4×V.35 card, video card or V.11/V.24 card. So the preparation is flexible, and this feature
makes the product a multi-service transport platform (MSTP)

  The LCD on the front panel of FOM480 shows the operation and alarming status of both
local and remote equipment. We and connect the equipment with the PC directly to operate
the network management.

  The SNMP protocol through Ethernet interface provides the first management system.
So you can through the web to operate the network, and when you are on holiday you 
can also operate the network in the hotel. If you are online and enable the management 
through Internet on web interface.

  The optical interface code rate is 155Mbit/s, so the 100Mbit/s Ethernet is as fast as the
MODEM. 

  The power supply can both AC220V and DC-48V, and it is available for AC and DC 
inputs feeding simultaneously which can work with 1+1 protection.

 The optical interfaces works under 1+1 mode and providing smooth switching which
costs 0ms when either the optical card is plugged out or the fiber damaged or cut. And
there's no error bit or AIS occurred during the switching. This achieves the real
non-damage switching, the most advanced and unique technique of FOM480. The 
test between some manufactures in the Thailand which can past this test is only one

FOM8E1AB(OMT240M) optical transmission equipment

 PDH fiber optical multiplexer with STM-1 rate, two optical interfaces, which constitute
1+1 mode. The equipment can transmit 8E1 simultaneously, 1 channel 100M Ethernet and
1 NX64K V.35. 

 The LCD is on the front panel, with the help of the buttons you can operate the network
both local and remote equipment. Another way is to manage by the PC.

 The equipment has both external alarm input circuit and external alarm output circuit. 
Output device is relay.

 The power supply can both AC220V and DC-48V, and it is available for AC and DC inputs 
feeding simultaneously which can work with 1+1 protection.

 There are two module of FOM8E1, FOM8E1A is sold in domestic, which is called 
OMT240M. The optical card is stable, and the network is through COM, and the sub-rack

and support hot-plug. The second one is the sub-rack is black.    The SNMP protocol

OMT240D Optical-Electronic Multiplexer 

 The multiplexer with PDH technology and design meets the latest national and 
international technology standard. Terminal multiplexing mode, add/drop multiplexing
mode and delay transmission mode, double-fiber self-healing ring can be formed.

 Multiplexing 17 stations tributary signals at most, add/drop of  multiple tributaries at any 
station in the net.

 Flexible configuration, E1-10Base_T interface converter or E1-V.35 interface converter can 
be set in the equipment, so double-fiber self-healing ring mode Ethernet link can be formed
 within the ring.

OMT240K Optical-Electronic Multiplexer. 

 The multiplexer with SDH technology which has double-fiber self-healing ring, double
interfaces, 16 E1 tributary signals. Terminal multiplexing mode, add/drop multiplexing
mode and delay transmission mode. The same circuit with 240D and take the place of it.

 Multiplexing 17 stations at the most to form the ring. Add/drop of multiple tributaries at
any station in the net.

 All of the service unit cards can be hot-plugged and combination randomly which has
the same physics structure with FOM480. Service unit cards are in common use.
10/100Base_T Ethernet, video signal, E1, V.35 signal can be transmitted under the
communication mode double-fiber self-healing ring.

 Comparing with the FOM480 this equipment has two advantages, one it has self-healing
ring, the other the price is much lower.

 The 10/100Base_T Ethernet is not 100M which is 8.448M, and the optical interface
switch is not 0ms.

 OMT240K is widely fit for the relay transmission of several channels of 10/100Base_T
